About the Role
As a Junior Purchasing and Accounts Administrator, you will play a key support role within both the Purchasing and Accounts departments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include raising purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, tracking deliveries, and assisting with procurement planning. You'll help reconcile purchase invoices, liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries, and support the accounts team with data entry, filing, and document preparation. Additionally, you will assist in processing invoices, managing payment runs, and completing statement reconciliations. Strong communication will be essential as you coordinate with suppliers, site teams, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations. This role also includes general office duties, contributing to the efficient and organized running of the business.
Requirements
Must be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
Excellent communication skills – professional and confident across all platforms
High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and documentation
Strong typing and Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Outlook, and Word
Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Experience in purchasing or procurement is a significant advantage
Proactive and eager to learn – shows initiative and works well without constant supervision
Adaptable and collaborative – happy to support different departments depending on workload
No formal accounts experience required – full training will be provided
