Founded in 2011 by Mark O'Rourke, alongside his wife Pauline, the company was built on a foundation of industry expertise, dedication to client satisfaction, and a commitment to innovation. Today, we are proud to have grown into a team of over 100 employees, supported by 150 subcontractors working on-site daily, delivering excellence in every project we undertake.

From design and supply to installation, servicing, and maintenance, M&P Mechanical offers a comprehensive range of services, including heating systems, ventilation, air conditioning, water services, plant fit-outs, mechanical refurbishments, and process systems. Our specialized servicing and maintenance division ensures long-term reliability and performance for all our clients.

We stay ahead of the curve by continuously adopting the latest innovations and systems, ensuring that we deliver cutting-edge solutions tailored to each project. Since our founding, we’ve achieved significant milestones, including:

A company restructure and the opening of our second office in 2016.
The expansion of our Dublin office in 2019.
The founding of our German subsidiary in 2019, followed by the successful completion of three major projects in Germany between 2019 and 2020.
The launch of our servicing and maintenance division in 2019.
Award-winning projects such as the District Heating Project of the Year (2017, 2019 & 2021), and being named Mechanical Contractor of the Year (2021 and 2022).

At the heart of M&P Mechanical is a dedicated team that drives our success. Led by founders Mark and Pauline O'Rourke, our business thrives on the strength and expertise of our people.

Their son Darren plays his role within the business, ensuring smooth operations alongside Chris Brown and TJ Collier who bring a wealth of experience and manage the day to day running of the business.

Their daughter Niamh manages our Dublin district office and our headquarters in Castlebellingham is managed by Elaine Ward.
