Founded in 2011 by Mark O'Rourke, alongside his wife Pauline, the company was built on a foundation of industry expertise, dedication to client satisfaction, and a commitment to innovation. Today, we are proud to have grown into a team of over 100 employees, supported by 150 subcontractors working on-site daily, delivering excellence in every project we undertake.

From design and supply to installation, servicing, and maintenance, M&P Mechanical offers a comprehensive range of services, including heating systems, ventilation, air conditioning, water services, plant fit-outs, mechanical refurbishments, and process systems. Our specialized servicing and maintenance division ensures long-term reliability and performance for all our clients.

Meet The Team

At the heart of M&P Mechanical is a family-led team committed to delivering excellence on every project.

Founded by Mark and Pauline O’Rourke, the company has grown from a small operation into one of Ireland’s leading mechanical contractors, while never losing its core values of quality, safety, and trust.

Their son Darren plays a key role in operations, working alongside Operations Director TJ Collier to manage the day-to-day running of the business, while their daughter Niamh, Quality and Compliance Manager, oversees our Dublin office and drives continuous improvement across the company. Commercial Director James Linehan ensures value and strong client relationships, and Elaine Ward manages our Castlebellingham headquarters, keeping the business running seamlessly.

Together, our leadership team — supported by over 100 skilled staff and 150 subcontractors — combines family values with industry expertise to deliver trusted mechanical solutions nationwide.
