Requirements
💼 The Role
The Purchasing Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support to both the office and site teams, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the purchasing and procurement function.
✅ Key Responsibilities
🗂️ Provide day-to-day administrative support to both in-house office staff and site teams
📝 Raise and process purchase orders in line with company procedures
📞 Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and deliveries
📊 Maintain accurate purchasing records, order trackers, and supplier databases
🤝 Communicate with suppliers, site teams, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations
📦 Monitor stock orders and assist with procurement planning
📑 Ensure all purchasing activity complies with company policies and ISO requirements
💶 Assist with the invoicing stage, including matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and resolving invoice or pricing discrepancies
🎯 Requirements
✍️ Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
💬 Excellent communication skills – professional and confident across all platforms
🔍 High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and documentation
💻 Strong typing and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
⏱️ Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
🧠 Organised and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
🚀 Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well without constant supervision
🤗 Adaptable and collaborative, happy to support different departments as required
⭐ Previous experience in purchasing or procurement is a significant advantage
