Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with one of Ireland's leading Mechanical Contractors?
At M&P Mechanical, we're continuing to grow and are looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team.
🏗️ About the Role
You will play a key role in managing the commercial lifecycle of large-scale mechanical projects, from pre-construction and procurement through to final accounts. Working alongside Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement Teams, and Senior Management, you will help ensure projects are delivered successfully, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Requirements
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Managing project costs, budgets, and forecasts
✅ Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
✅ Managing subcontractor packages and accounts
✅ Monitoring project cash flow and financial performance
✅ Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
✅ Ensuring contractual compliance throughout project delivery
✅ Producing accurate monthly commercial reports
🎯 What We're Looking For
✔️ Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
✔️ Minimum 2 years' experience within the construction industry
✔️ Exposure to Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or M&E projects
✔️ Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
✔️ Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
✔️ Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability
